UK Parliamentary election
For the Lincoln borough constituency

1. An Election is to be held for of a Member of Parliament to serve the Lincoln borough constituency.

2. Nomination papers can be obtained from the offices of the (Acting) Returning Officer, Room 302, City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln LN1 1DD, during the times stated below.

3. Nomination papers must be delivered in person by appointment only to the (Acting) Returning Officer at City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln LN1 1DD on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday, 7th June 2024. Appointments can be arranged by email: electoral@lincoln.gov.uk or by telephone (01522 873733).

4. The £500 deposit can be paid by legal tender or by means of a banker’s draft from a drawer which carries on business as banker in the United Kingdom (made payable to the City of Lincoln Council Receipts Account) or in the form of an online BACS payment and must be delivered to the (Acting) Returning Officer, Room 302, City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln, LN1 1DD.

5. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 4th July 2024.

6. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday, 18th June 2024. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

7. New applications to vote by post, and amendments or cancellations of existing postal or postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, Room 302, City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln LN1 1DD, by 5 pm on Wednesday 19th June 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote .

8. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024. 9. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln LN1 1DD by 5 pm on Wednesday, 26th June 2024. Some applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote .

10. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at City Hall, Beaumont Fee, Lincoln LN1 1DD by 5 pm on Thursday, 4 July 2024.
