Hub and Library

The Bracebridge Heath Community Hub and Library has recently surpassed 4000 visitors since relocating to its new venue at The Heath: Village Hall & Library in January 2024.

The hub has gone from strength to strength since its move and is now able to offer a base for community events and services. We are very proud to be able to support our residents in the provision of library services – books, online services and access to public computers; and also in providing a welcoming space for people to meet with others, join in events such as chess, book chatter, arts and crafts, the summer reading challenge or just to sit and read in a warm space. Our volunteers are at the heart of this, and we wouldn’t be able to offer these services without the dedication and enthusiasm of people from the local community. Thank you to all our volunteers for making this possible.

We also recognise the power of partnerships which underpins our hub’s success. We are supported by Lincolnshire County Council and Greenwich Leisure Limited to operate the hub and provide library services. With its new venue secured and owned by Bracebridge Heath Parish Council, we aim to continue to work with our partners in the provision of these vital community facilities.

"I am incredibly proud of the work done by Bracebridge Heath Parish Council to create this wonderful community asset. It was a pleasure to work alongside colleagues from Lincolnshire County Council Culture Services and GLL to support the parish council to make their ambition a reality. Now the village has a well-used and much-loved library and community hub run by a team of amazing volunteers. Well done and thank you to everyone involved!"

Lincolnshire County Councillor Lindsey Cawrey, Executive Member for Cultural Services

“It is an honour to work with the Parish Council and dedicated volunteers to provide this wonderful community space.  We know that the library service means a great deal to the local community and we are proud to be part of this.”
