Minutes of a meeting of the Environment committee held on 21st October 2019 in the Bracebridge Heath Community Library at 19:00

Present: Cllrs Adeyemi, Kilcoyne, Manders, Moran, Smith, Trought, Walker.
In attendance: Mrs R Fraser – Assistant Clerk to Council. 
Cllrs Callan, Hauton and Parr observed the meeting.

1. To consider apologies for absence and note the reason where appropriate – Nil

2. To receive members’ declarations of disclosable pecuniary, non-disclosable pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests in relation to any agenda item. - Nil

3. To consider planning applications –

• 19/1314/PNTEL PCO PCO1 St Johns Road Bracebridge Heath – It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: Council objects to the removal of the public payphone on St Johns Road. It was recommended that the payphone remain in 2016. Use of the telephone box has increased since the last application in 2016, showing there is still a need for the payphone in that location.
• 19/1313/PNTEL PCO PCO1 London Road Bracebridge Heath – It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: Council objects to the removal of the public payphone on London Road. It was recommended that the payphone remain in 2016. The phone box is in a prominent location close to the centre of the village alongside the busy A15. The payphone continues to be used showing there is still a need for the phone box in that location.

There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting at 19:04.
