Minutes of a meeting of Woodland & Cemetery Development sub-committee held on 18th March 2019 in the Bracebridge Heath Community Library at 7:30pm
Present: Cllr Mrs Humphrey, Cllr Mrs Manders, Cllr Mrs Trought (Chairman), Mrs Thomson, Mrs Walker
In attendance Mrs S Knowles - Clerk to Council, Cllr Kilcoyne, Cllr Moran

1. To consider apologies for absence and note the reason where appropriate – Nil
2. To receive members’ declarations of disclosable pecuniary, non-disclosable pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests in relation to any agenda – Nil
3. To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 21st January 2019- It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That the minutes of the meeting held on 21st January 2019 be approved and signed as a true record by the Chairman.
4. To receive an update on the woodland walk and burial ground – A verbal report was given.
Cllr Mrs Manders declared a non-pecuniary interest in relation to St John the Evangelist Church at 19:45
Rev Jacqueline Bell had expressed an interest in assisting with the memorial in the burial ground.
It was agreed that an application be made to the National Citizen Service Social Action to host a youth group during the summer months.
5. To consider a project plan and vision for the woodland walk and burial ground – A verbal report was given.
a. To consider a heritage trail – Village trails were presented and discussed.
6. Additional items for the agenda of the next sub-committee meeting- It was reported that the sub-committee would be formally closed in May 2019. Thanks were given to Mrs Thomson and Mrs Varlow for their contribution and assistance.
