Minutes of a meeting of the Planning, Lighting & Roads Committee held in Bracebridge Heath Community Library on 19th November 2018 at 19:00

1. To consider apologies for absence and note the reason where appropriate –
- It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That apologies for absence be accepted from Cllr Clements.
- It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That apologies for absence be accepted from Cllr Lowery
2. To receive members’ declarations of disclosable pecuniary, non-disclosable pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests in relation to any agenda item – Nil
3. Minutes of the meeting held on 15th October 2018 - It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That the minutes of the meeting held on 15th October 2018 be approved and signed as a true record by the Chairman.
4. To consider planning applications:
- 18/1347/HOUS – 6 Main Avenue – No comments or objections.
- 18/1415/HOUS – 51 Sleaford Road - No comments or objections.
- 18/1423/HOUS- St John’s Hospital – No comments or objections.
- 18/1423/HOUS - 1 Ridgeview Road – No comments or objections.
- 18/1456/HOUS – 1 Lancia Crescent – It was proposed, seconded and Resolved: That should the planning authority be minded to permit this development that a condition is applied to restrict the new double garage being used as a separate dwelling in the future. Council are also concerned that the addition of large storage areas mean that the property will be used as a business premises in future and request that conditions are applied to restrict this.
- 18/1519/HOUS – 1 Medland Drive – No objections. The Parish Council commend the application on the congruous nature of the extension and effort to remain in keeping with the style of the original property.
5. To receive a report on planning decisions received – The report was accepted by members.
6. To consider highways and roads – A verbal report was given. It was requested that the Clerk to Council follow up with LCC Highways about the pre-bypass construction survey and repairs to St John’s Road.
7. To receive a report on street lighting faults and repairs – A verbal report was given on streetlighting repairs
8. Items for the agenda of the next committee meeting – Committee expenditure and budget.
